Staff report



Following is a list of school supplies for Plain City Elementary School.

Preschool — One white one inch binder with plastic sleeve cover; six glue sticks; one box of snacks to share, Cheese Its, Teddy Grahams, Goldfish crackers, graham crackers; drink to share; one large bottle of Juicy Juice; one roll of paper towels. Label these items: full size back pack, no wheels; extra change of clothes in ziplock bag with first and last name, pants, short sleeve shirt, socks, underwear; one lunch box if child is not buying lunch; any medicine that the doctor has given permission, includes inhalers and Epipens, must have medical form filled out.

Kindergarten — Unless indicated please do not individually label with child’s name, as these items will be shared. One two pocket folders, labeled with name, pocket at bottom, not on side; one white T-shirt, one size larger than your child’s normal size, write name on tag or inside collar. These items will be shared: 10 glue sticks, girls; one box of 16 Crayola crayons, girls; one box of tissues, girls; one roll of paper towels, girls; one bottle of Elmer’s liquid glue, girls; one box of sandwich size Ziploc bags, girls; one container of Clorox Green works antibacterial wipes, boys; 10 regular No. 2 pencils, boys; one box of 16 Crayola crayons, boys; one large eraser, boys; one box gallon Ziploc bags; one box thick or thin box of Crayola markers.

First grade — One 5 inch by 8 inch school box, no larger; 24 No. 2 pencils, sharpened, if possible, brand Dixon Ticonderoga; two large erasers; 12 glue sticks; five pocketed folders, one red, one yellow, one green, one three prong plastic folder and one of your choice with prongs; one three ring binder, one inch white view; one composition book, wide rule, 9 3/4 inch by 7 1/2 inch, no spiral; two boxes of 24 Crayola crayons, no larger; one box of washable markers, broad tip, eight basic colors only; one pair of small Fiskars scissors; one box of tissues; girls, one container of baby wipes; boys, one roll of paper towels; one box of gallon size Ziploc baggies (last names A-H); one box of sandwich size Ziploc baggies (last names L-P); one box of snack size Ziploc baggies (last names Q-Z); book bag, no wheels. The following items are frequently used in each classroom. Donations of these items throughout the year would be greatly appreciated: black dry erase markers; pump size hand sanitizer; all natural spray cleaners; glue bottles; Clorox wipes; snack size Ziploc baggies; yellow highlighters.

Second grade — Unless indicated please do not individually label with child’s name, as these items will be shared. Thirty six No. 2 pencils, pre-sharpened, basic wood pencils, no plastic wrap; 24 pack Crayola crayons; eight pack Crayola markers, classic colors; eight pack colored pencils, pre-sharpened; eight dry erase markers, no Crayola brand; eight glue sticks; one pair of Fiskars scissors, kid size, pointed edge; one container of antibacterial wipes; one box of tissues; one box of heavy duty gallon size Ziploc bags, boys; one box of Ziploc sandwich bags, girls. Write your child’s name on these items. Four plastic folders with two pockets, three hole punched and no prongs, one green, one red, one blue and one yellow, no designs; one 1 1/2 inch three ring binder, any color or design, two for Mrs. Fuller and Mrs. McBride; one zippered pencil pouch, three hole punched, any color with clear front; two wide ruled composition notebooks; one set of addition flash cards; one set of subtraction cards; book bag or backpack, no wheels.

Third grade — No. 2 pencils; 24 crayons; loose leaf notebook paper; two folders with pockets; two large boxes of tissues; one highlighter; scissors; glue stick; small school box; one set of colored pencils; personal headphones or ear buds, label with name; spiral bound notebook, wide ruled; set of multiplication flashcards through 12; one low odor dry erase marker; one container Clorox wipes, boys; one box of gallon Ziploc bags, girls; no trapper keepers or large notebooks; no mechanical pencils.

Fourth grade — Ear buds or headphones; No. 2 lead pencils, two packages; one 16 or 24 pack crayons; one 10 pack fine tip markers; scissors, two pairs; one composition notebook; one ruler with inches and centimeters; two large pink pearl erasers; two highlighters yellow, orange or pink; 12 glue sticks; one bottle of glue; one box of Kleenex; one container of antibacterial wipes, no baby wipes; two zipper pouches for art supplies, no boxes; three inch binder; two dry erase markers; five three hole punched folder with pockets, red, yellow, green, blue, purple; 12 colored pencils; one pack of pencil top erasers; one pack of loose leaf notebook paper wide ruled or narrow; boys, one box of sandwich size Ziploc bags; girls, one box of gallon size Ziploc bags; three spiral notebooks, red, yellow, green.

Seventh grade — Number two pencils, 24; 12 colored pencils; two highlighters; two glue sticks; one zipper pencil case; three packages of wide ruled filler paper, 150 sheets; six single subject spiral notebooks for Science, Language Arts and Social Studies; one 1 1/2 inch three ring heavy duty binder, white for Language Arts; one package tabbed binder dividers, eight in each package for Language Arts; four packages of sticky notes, assorted colors, three by three inches for Language Arts; one composition book for Math; one folder for Math; one inch binder for Social Studies; ear buds for Technology; one package of disinfectant hand wipes; two boxes of tissues; one pack of Expo markers. For art students only, one art drawing pad/sketch book, 80 plus pages at least eight inches by 11 inches no bigger than 11 inches by 14 inches.

For art students only: one art drawing pad/sketch book, 80 plus pages at least eight inches by 11 inches no bigger than 11 inches by 14 inches.
