Prizes will be awarded in various age groups, from preschool through adult. Also eat a free picnic lunch. No pre-registration is required. Participants will receive a block of sidewalk on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Shake your sillies out with the library at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 for a Toddler Dance Party. Join us for some silly dances, songs, balloons, and bubbles under the disco ball. Ages 5 and under. No registration is required.

• Food for Fines will be held Saturday, Aug. 1 through Saturday, Aug. 8 during the library’s regular operating hours. For every non-perishable food item brought in to be donated to the Plain City Food Pantry you will get 50 cents off of your fines for up to $10 on each account. Patrons who donate but do not currently have fines will receive a voucher for use at a later date. All food donations will go to the Plain City Food Pantry. Limit of two packages of Ramen noodles.
