Lady Raiders win first match

There will likely be a lot more wins on the books this season for the London High School girls golf team as the Lady Red Raiders return a couple of experienced players and add some talented newcomers.

The winning started Monday, Aug. 14, as the school picked up its first victory of the season over Bishop Ready (229-244).

The Lady Raiders were led by freshman medalist Kayla Clinger who fired a round of 48. She was followed by junior Jordan Marco who came in with a 54. Senior Aliyah Napper shot a personal-best 57, while senior Katie Hill ended her round with a 70.

The Red Raiders next travel to Buckeye Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 16, to battle the Barons.
