MARYSVILLE — Craig Devine, PT, AT has returned to work for Memorial Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, after three years as lead athletic trainer for the Columbus Crew.
He will be the lead physical therapist for the Memorial Hospital location at 480 S. Jefferson Ave. in Plain City, where he also lives. Devine says he looks forward to using his 31 years of experience as a physical therapist and athletic trainer to help his patients of all ages recover from injury or surgery.
“Craig is a popular therapist. We are proud to welcome him back to our team at Memorial,” says Randy Moore, Director of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. “He is passionate about his work, and pursues optimal outcomes for every patient.”
Devine will also provide valuable assistance to the athletic trainers at Memorial’s six partner schools.

Devine earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and an Associate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Lowell (Lowell, Mass.), then worked in Massachusetts for private sports medicine and rehabilitation practices. During that time, he also worked for U.S. Figure Skating in Boston, and helped top-level competitors in four world championships.
He came to Columbus in 1996 to work for Riverside Center for Orthopedic Rehabilitation, before leaving to work as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for the Columbus Crew soccer team in 2000. He first came to work for Memorial Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2007, leaving to work as Head Athletic Trainer for Columbus Crew in 2014. He also coaches for the Fairbanks High School Girls’ Soccer team and FC42, a local youth soccer club.
