MARYSVILLE — Memorial Health provides many health and wellness classes and events for the community. All are free of charge, unless indicated.

• Childbirth education class will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 19 in meeting Room E located on the lower level beneath the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). To register or for information call 937-578-2329. The cost of the class is $65.

• Breastfeeding class will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 in meeting Room E located on the lower level beneath the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). To register or for information call 937-578-2329. The cost of the class is $20. A board-certified lactation consultant will help you learn the best techniques and provide helpful tips to assist you and your baby with breastfeeding. Support partners are also welcome.

• Newborn care class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16 in meeting Room E located on the lower level beneath the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). To register or for information call 937-578-2329. The cost for the class is $20.

• HOPE infertility support group class will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 in meeting Room E located on the lower level beneath the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). Meet in a peer-led infertility support group of women only, to confidentially discuss issues related to fertility treatments, miscarriages, and adoption.

• Strength training with stretchy bands will be held at 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Wellness Center classroom at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance C). Call 937-578-2580 to register. Advance registration is encouraged. Learn how to work with stretchy bands (four- or six-inch wide flexible bands used to improve muscular endurance, strength, and range of motion).

• Joint replacement information class will be held at noon on Friday, Nov. 18 in the activity room at Memorial Gables, 390 Gables Drive, Marysville. Call 937-578-4074 to register. Patients who will be undergoing a joint replacement procedure will receive tips about diet and exercise that are recommended before surgery, as well as information related to pain, therapy and recovery after surgery. Receive answers for questions from Memorial’s clinical professionals.

• The Chicken Soup group class will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 in the Meeting Room E in the lower level of the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). To register a patient and/or caregiver, call 937-578-2862. A support network for cancer patients and caregivers: Cancer patients and their caregivers share light meals, learn relevant information, and participate in discussion and support.

• Siblings class will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 in meeting Room E located on the lower level beneath the Miracle Life Center at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave., Marysville (use entrance E). For more information call 937-578-2329. Brothers and sisters will learn about having a new baby in the family in this class, geared toward children age three and up (younger children welcome). To provide support for families, children should be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The cost of the class is $10.
