Daily Needs Assistance receives grant

The United Way of Union County’s Board of Trustees recently approved a $1,200 grant for the Daily Needs Assistance Program in Plain City.

This grant was awarded to support a “Bridges Out of Poverty” and “Cost of Poverty Simulation Experience” training for professionals who work with those in need.

The training is free and set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
