New Year's baby
The first baby born at Madison County Hospital in 2009 arrived a few days into the New Year. On Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2:17 p.m. Proud parents Tasha Colwell, left, and Adam Hutson of London welcomed their first child, Noah. He weighed 3 pounds and 12 ounces. The hospital provides special gifts to the first baby of the year. This year’s gift included a handmade quilt made by Diane Furbee of Patchwork Farm Creations.
